Frequently Asked Questions

This is our FAQ page. If you still have questions that are not included here, please get in touch!

Where will you meet us?

Stanley typically is a tender port. We will meet you holding a sign that says your name at the Public Jetty, where your tenders arrive. We will stand wherever you can best see us and will be wearing a hi-visibility jacket to help you spot us.

7

Will I make it back for my last tender?

Absolutely! Our reputation depends on it and we have contingencies in place to get you back in plenty of time.

2

How do we pay?

If you have booked through Viator.com, they will handle your payment directly. If you have booked with us directly, we work together with the Falkland Islands Tourist Board who will help make your payment. Your guide will accompany you into the tourist board gift shop to pay for your tour. We can accept all major credit and debit cards.

3

What happens if my ship cancels it's port call?

Firstly, don't worry - you will be fully refunded/will not have to pay. If you booked by Viator, we will wait for your agent to confirm your cancellation which we will receive and then cancel your booking for your on Viator. If you booked with us directly, you don't need to do anything else.

4

What should I wear?

Layers! The Falkland Islands weather can be unpredictable, warm or cold. My grandfather always said: "the car will carry it" and we are never far from the car, so please bring layers and your waterproofs.

5

What happens if my ship changes its port call date?

We will work with you to make sure that your tour can still go ahead!

6

I have allergies/dietary requirements

No problem, just let us know and we will prepare your lunch separately and in a clean facility.
